In aquaculture, water is not just the medium in which aquatic animals live — it is their entire environment. Critical Water Quality Parameters
Dissolved Oxygen (DO)
Dissolved oxygen is the most critical parameter. Fish and shrimp require adequate oxygen for respiration, growth, and immune function. Recommended DO levels are:
